Twittter like Facebook is yet another social networking website. The basis of Twitter is the limitedtext box which asks "what are you doing?". Joining twitter is marketed as joing the conversation. Facebook has competed with this by offering the status/wall text box asking "what's on your mind?"
Though not as robust as facebook, Twitter is trying to regain people's interests which increased search abilities within it's website. It's limited features to some may seem like its behind sites such as facebook, while other view the limitations as a focus of the social networking site.
